In this fourth contribution some comparative considerations are carried out about the definitions of the ADPPA and the GDPR, we begin to illustrate the fundamental principles of data processing envisaged by the federal law proposal, examining in particular how the principles of necessity are declined in the ADPPA, minimization and proportionality, to conclude with the analysis of how "sensitive data" is regulated (and what they are) for the (future) US data protection law.
