The Law decree 33/2020 and the rules on the so called Phase 2: the data protection related doubts also in light of the Guidelines enacted by the Italian Regions.

In this article published on the Law Review "Diritto & Giustizia" by Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre, Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno analyses the rules for the resumption of the economic, commercial and productive activities starting from May 18th, 2020 as provided by the law-decree as of may 16th, 2020 no. 33 and - above all - by the Guidelines enacted by the Conference of the Italian Regions and Autonomous Provinces. With particular reference to the mandatory rules forcing the operators to collect and keep for 14 days the clients' personal data during the booking, Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno points out in the article the criticalities form an effective data protection perspective.
