To what extent should the recipients to whom the data subject's personal data are disclosed be identified?
In this commentary Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno analyses the ruling in Case C-154-2021 in which the European Court of Justice clarifies the cases in which the data controller is obliged to identify by name the recipients of personal data, to be communicated to the data subject who files an application for access pursuant to Article 15(1)(c) of EU Regulation 679/2016 on the protection of personal data.
