Integrated digital education: the new scenarios for data protection and the use of AI.

In light of the highly innovative character that distinguishes Integrated Digital Education and the need to guide the School in the implementation of new tools, there is a need for further information on the safety and data protection, in light of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

The processing of personal data by the School Institutions is necessary as it is connected to the execution of a task of public interest, of which the school is invested, through the methods provided for by the legislation regarding the management of Integrated Digital Education with particular attention to the of the epidemiological emergency.

Headteachers must ensure that the data is protected from unauthorized or illegal processing, from loss, destruction or accidental damage, and must be fully informed on the use of the tools and data protection.
