The protection of genetic data in medically assisted procreation.

Avv. Alessandro del Ninno discusses a paper as part of the 15th National Congress of the Italian Society of Andrology. The theme of the speech is the relationship between new technologies and personal data in the field of medically assisted procreation, with particular reference to the rules contained in the GDPR on the protection of genetic data (in the light of Article 9 of the GDPR), in national legislation and in the rules being issued on the free circulation of data in the European Data  Space, in the light of both Regulation 2022/868 (Data Governance Act) and the proposed EU Regulation on the establishment of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
