In the Program "Talk on line", live streaming organized by Key4Biz, online press agency dedicated to political, economy and technology issues, Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno joined the debate "TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. The future of social networks and the protection of minors". Starting from the examination of the recent decision enacted by the Italian Data Protection Authority towards Tik Tok which imposed the temporary limitation of minors' data processing due to the absence of age verification (investigation now also extended to Facebook and Instagram), Prof. Del Ninno further discussed the practical consequences of the Tik Tok matter as well as the future perspectives concerning the relationship between minors and electronic platforms, in light of the applicable legal framework and considering the sensitive legal and technical issues linked to the age verification on line and to the protection of minors in the context of the electronic networks in general.
