EU Regulation 868/2022 ("Data Governance Act") published in Official Journal, to apply from 24 September 2023.
Regulation (EU) 2022/868 of 30 May 2022 on European Data Governance and amending Regulation (EU) 2018/1724 (Data Governance Act) ('DGA') was published, on 3 June 2022, in the Official Journal of the European Union, following its adoption on 16 May 2022.
The DGA, which lays down rules for the re-use of public sector data, data intermediation services, and data altruism organisations, will enter into effect on 23 June 2022 and apply in full from 24 September 2023.
