Digital Procurement: First FAQs on E-procurement Technical Rules published.

AgID, ANAC and DTD provide the first clarifications to the interpretative doubts raised by stakeholders on the technical requirements and certification methods for PA procurement platforms, in the context of the digitalisation of procurement.

AgID has published in the section dedicated to e-procurement on its institutional website the answers to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) relating to the Technical Rules for Digital Procurement Platforms recently issued by the Agency with Determination 137/2023.

The document aims to resolve the interpretative doubts of the Technical Rules that have emerged during the numerous public meetings held by AgID with players in the e-procurement ecosystem.

The FAQs are accompanied by a further technical detail: the "Interoperability Model for Digital Procurement Platforms". A document that aims to clarify the interoperability model adopted in e-procurement, in accordance with the Guidelines on the National Digital Data Platform (PDND) technological infrastructure for the interoperability of information systems and databases, which aims to enable the simple and secure exchange of data and information between all PAs. (Art. 50b. of the CAD).

The process of adopting the technical specifications, to which the procurement platforms will have to comply by 1 January 2024, is thus being defined.
