DATA PROTECTION
EDPD 2021-2022 Work Program.
In its recent 46th Plenary Session, the European Data Protection Board (EDBP) has made public the Work Program that will concern the Board's activity in the two-year period 2021-2022.
In addition to the measures of considerable interest already adopted in the first quarter of 2021 (from the Guidelines on the examples of data breach to those on the data protection impact of the operation of voice assistants), significant ones are expected, as regards the areas of indication of the practical effectiveness of the GDPR : from the guidelines on legitimate interest, to those on the relationship between GDPR and Blockchain; from the guidelines on the exercise of the rights of data subjects, up to the guidelines on anonymization and pseudonymization techniques.
