New ANAC Guidelines on whistleblowing published.

With Resolution No. 311 of 12 July 2023,  ANAC approved the 'Guidelines on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law and the protection of persons who report breaches of national laws. Procedures for the submission and management of external reports'.

The purpose of the Guidelines is to provide guidance on how to submit external reports to the ANAC, as well as on how to handle them, as established by Article 10 of Legislative Decree no. 24/2023, which transposed the so-called whistleblowing directive.

More specifically, the guidelines provide indications and principles which public and private entities may take into account for their own internal organisational channels and models, on which ANAC reserves the right to adopt future guidelines.

In any case, these guidelines replace the previous ones adopted by resolution no. 469/2021, subject to the transitional regime illustrated in Part Four.
