EU Commission: Legal Desk service on the Data Act launched.
The Data Act Legal Helpdesk provides direct assistance to companies, public authorities and other organisations that have questions about how to apply Regulation 2023/2854 (Data Act).
The Commission has launched a Data Act Legal Helpdesk to assist stakeholders, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which do not usually have large departments, to get answers to concrete questions about the new rules.
The helpdesk is designed for all stakeholders looking for clear and practical guidance on requirements, rights and obligations under the Data Act. The Data Act Legal Helpdesk complements other existing tools and guidelines to support compliance, including:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the Data Act
Vehicle Data Guidelines, accompanying the Data Act
The Commission also plans to publish additional guidance and support, including guidance on reasonable remuneration and guidance on certain definitions contained in the Data Act.
